How limits work

Active context: One ongoing problem or project. Archived contexts do not count; they stay readable and exportable.
Source: A note, a pasted conversation or a file inside a context.
Page: A page of an uploaded document that we read (PDF, Word). Notes and pasted text are not counted. The monthly quota renews on the first of each month.
Active capsule: A share link that has not expired and was not revoked.
AI run: One organizing pass that uses an AI provider, only with your consent. Organizing by rules never counts and always works.
Version history: How far back you can open and restore earlier versions. Older versions are kept, just locked, until a plan that reaches back further.

When you get close to a limit

You are told at 80%, 90% and 100% of a quota, in your subscription page.
At 100% only new creation waits. You can still read, search, export, share existing capsules and delete.
Nothing is ever deleted because a quota or a plan ended.
Credits you earn can be exchanged for extra room on quotas that allow it.

Fair use on Ultra

Every Ultra limit above is a number you can see, and it is enforced by the server, so you always know where you stand.
Where a capability has no fixed number (extended version history), we do not cut it off for ordinary use. If usage ever looks like automated bulk storage or resale, we contact you first before limiting anything.
We may slow down bursts of requests to protect the service for everyone.
This wording is provisional until the paid plans open.

Questions about plans

Can I pay today?

No. Paid plans are not open and we do not take cards. Prices on this page are provisional and not an offer to charge you.

Will I be charged automatically after the free period?

No. Nothing is charged unless you choose a paid plan yourself, once paid plans exist. At the end of the launch period, accounts without a paid plan move to Free.

What happens to my data when I move to Free, or go over a limit?

Nothing is deleted. You can read, search and export everything. Only creating new things that would pass the limit waits, with a message that explains why.

Are prices and quotas final?

No. They are provisional, they may change before paid plans open, and you will see any change here first.

Is yearly cheaper?

Yes. Yearly is ten months for the price of twelve, shown on each card.

Does AI cost extra?

AI organizing uses a monthly number of runs that depends on the plan, and works only when an AI provider is configured and you allow it. Without it, organizing by rules is always available.

What are credits?

You can earn credits and exchange them for extra room on some quotas. Credits are not money and cannot be cashed out.

Prices and quotas are provisional and may change before paid plans open. If they change, you will see it here first.
Nothing is deleted when a plan or limit changes. If you are over a limit you can still read, export and delete; only creating new items waits until there is room.
Every limit is enforced by our servers, not by this page.
